St Mark's Square is the lowest point in Venice, so it floods first. When the tide comes up the city lays out raised wooden walkways — passerelle — and everyone queues politely to cross on them.
It is not an emergency, it is a season. Roughly October to January, with the shops selling boots at the door.
The basilica reflected in standing water here, the duckboards running across the foreground on their trestles, pigeons holding the dry ground.
For anyone who has a photograph of themselves standing on those boards.
You've now found the staple t-shirt of your wardrobe. It's made of 100% ring-spun cotton and is soft and comfy. The double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!
• 100% ring-spun cotton
• Sport Grey is 90% ring-spun cotton, 10% polyester
• Dark Heather & Heather colors are 65% polyester, 35% cotton
• Graphite Heather is 50% polyester, 50% cotton
• 4.5 oz/yd² (153 g/m²)
• Shoulder-to-shoulder taping
• Quarter-turned to avoid crease down the center
• Blank product sourced from Bangladesh, Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Haiti or Guatemala
Disclaimers:
• Due to the fabric properties, the White color variant may appear off-white rather than bright white.
• Dark color speckles throughout the fabric are expected for the color Natural.
