early 2,000 years after it opened, the Colosseum still stands at the heart of Rome. Completed in 80 AD, it once held tens of thousands of spectators, and today it remains one of the most famous landmarks in the world.
This vintage badge shows the Colosseum in fine detail, with its weathered arches and partly ruined outer wall. Tall Italian cypress trees stand on either side. A knotted rope border, a small laurel-and-ribbon accent and bold navy lettering spelling Italy and Roma complete the look. The warm cream and stone tones feel like an old travel label from a Roman holiday.
