The cattle have a double coat — an oily outer layer that sheds rain and a soft inner one that holds heat — which is why they are still standing on an open hillside in February when everything else has gone indoors. The fringe over the eyes has its own name, the dossan, and it works as a windbreak and a fly screen. They are the oldest registered cattle breed in the world; the herd book opened in 1885.
Cut as a two-colour linocut in rust and black, every hair a separate gouge. The white you see is the shirt, not ink.
For anyone who drove the NC500 or the Skye road and had to stop for cattle standing in it.
You've now found the staple t-shirt of your wardrobe. It's made of 100% ring-spun cotton and is soft and comfy. The double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!
